Teeth cleaning with the Emmi-Pet toothbrush
Emmi-Pet is a fully ultrasonic toothbrush designed for the care of teeth and oral hygiene in animals. It was created by German scientists at EMAG AG, a company specializing in the development and production of ultrasonic devices, located in Moerfelden, Germany.
The Emmi-Pet ultrasonic toothbrush does not work like conventional or electric toothbrushes that use mechanical friction. Instead, it uses the properties of ultrasonic waves, which clean without the need for brushing.
Ultrasonic technology has been successfully used in medicine for decades. Using ultrasound for oral hygiene is completely safe for both humans and animals. Ultrasonic waves are simply air waves. The Emmi-Pet toothbrush works with a power output of only 0.2 watts.
